Coruripe is a municipality located on the southern coast of Alagoas, Brazil. With a population of 57,294 (2020), it covers an area of 913 km². Although Coruripe river runs through it, the municipality itself is actually quite small compared to others in Alagoas – one of the smallest municipalities when taking all Brazilian states into account.
